The Federation International of Women gathers national association of women jurist, women lawyers and women magistrates as individual members of several countries. Bodies and persons engaging themselves in the establishment of friendly international relations on a basis of equality and mutual respect among the peoples; and also in consideration that the socio-economic conditions of every country have repercussions on the situation of women and children.
FIDA, in its practice, is inspired by the principles consecrated by the Universal Declaration of Man’s Rights, by the Universal Declaration of Children’s Rights, by the Convention on Removal of every kind of Discrimination respect to Women.
The Federation promotes the study of comparative law, with the aim of promoting in every country the respect of the Fundamental Rights of Men, Women and Children. This in order to back up the welfare of women and children, in the awareness that on the well being of women and children depend domestic happiness and society’s strength.
