The 35th Convention of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) took place in the Lalit Ashok Hotel, Bangalore – India from the November 15th – 18th 2014.

With the theme “Changing lives, changing societies, changing status of women” this event was aimed at exchanging ideas and recent changes in Law, between Jurists, Women Lawyers and students interested in Evolution of Law & Positive changes in the society through reports, Survey, Case studies, study of comparative law between the countries, Court Judgments and Documentary Films. We endeavour to cover all ideally interdisciplinary application.

Presentations of the fundamental aspects of “Change In Laws And Role Of Women Lawyers” were particularly sought. About 750 Women Lawyers from all parts of the world attended, an occasion to meet and interact with Women Lawyers from different countries.

The events consisted on six seminars with dignitaries, jurists and experts. As well as nonstop activities for four days including, visit to Courts, University Campus, NGO centers, Sightseeing, Shopping and Dinner.
