Lady Justice Victoria Nakintu Nkwanga Katamba – Incoming Chairperson

Justice Victoria is a Ugandan Judge and serves as the Judge of the High Court of Uganda at Masaka High Court circuit.

Prior to that, she served as an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and on several Boards of Humanitarian organizations such as FIDA Uganda chapter. One School at a time, Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau (UPMB).

She is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered secretaries and Administrators, London, an International Finance Corporation accredited Governance Trainer, a trained Bible Teacher having been a Teaching Leader with Bible Study Fellowship International from 2011 to 2017, and a Children’s Leader from 2004 to 2010. She is a Trainer of trainers in Trial Advocacy and Sexual & Gender Based offences, a Values Education Coordinator with Scripture Union Uganda, a proud mother of four young men, and the first child in a family of eight.

She has served on the Boards of Humanitarian organizations such as FIDA U (The Association of Women Lawyers). One School at a time, Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau (UPMB), and now, the incoming Chairperson of FIDA-U.

She takes pride in uplifting the dignity of humanity by recognizing that we are all made by God and are all divinely equal before Him. She enjoys cooking, gardening, good conversations, traveling, reading, learning and teaching.
